Mourning Dove - we have one that sits on our roof, right next to the chimney.  Every morning it serenades us with "who-WHO-oo" straight into the living room.

The mourning dove is a member of the dove family. The bird is also called the turtle dove or the American mourning dove or rain dove, and formerly was known as the Carolina pigeon or Carolina turtledove.

Mourning Dove; so common that we see them all day long.  Their song is easy to remember.  Aunt Colleen and I used to use it with each other when we were children.
