Forget Game of Thrones: Meet England's bloodiest queens

A new TV series starting this evening traces the history of some of England's bloodiest and bravest queens. Rosie Ifould steps back in time to the Middle Ages to find out

Martine Geliot was born to a family of harpists and studied with Pierre Jamet at the Paris Conservatory. Martine Geliot was First Prize Winner at the Third International harp Contest in Israel in 1965. Many works were written for her and dedicated to her. Since 1978 she was principal harpist of the Orchestre National de France and a sought after guest artist. She taught at the Paris Conservatory and served at the 9th International Harp Contest in Israel. Geliot died in 1988.
