Celebrating Mistakes - this would be great social skill work for the beginning of the school year and creating a risk-taking environment. would also tie in really nicely with the idea that scientists/engineers take risks and make mistakes.
Help students learn to set SMART goals, create action plans, and celebrate achievements. Students take control of their learning in small manageable ways by setting meaningful goals that they can accomplish with a little help from their teacher.
