Bridalwreath spirea is fairly easy to start from cuttings. They usually root from both softwood cuttings taken in early June or hardwood cuttings taken in late fall. Either way, snip off about 4 to 6 inches from a branch tip, strip leaves from the bottom two-thirds and stick the cutting in light-weight, well drained potting mix (or a sand and peat moss mix). Keep it consistently damp in a shady location, and in 4 to 6 weeks you should have a new rooted baby.
