Found art has existed since humans could manipulate objects of their environment in minimal ways other than their intended use, but following rules of composition. The French artist Marcel Duchamp is credited with the modern Found Art. I have a source for my found objects: fall pick-up, where a good pile attracts a traffic jam. It helps the environment, too. I make wooden toy soldiers using chair legs, & scrap wood. A beach is a also a good source for me.

Ice Cream Man

This Ice Cream Man is ready for the summer, the kids, and the cones! Unlike most Ice Cream Trucks, this guy doesn't have a speaker pumping extremely loud distorted horror-movie-like soundtracks...LOL! He'll be a hit in your neighborhood and bring smiles to lots of folks both young and old. His wheels all roll and he's ready to go. His favorite saying is, "Chill, baby!"

Orange Roses, would be great in pot pourri with some cinnamon and cloves Fun Diy Projects For Home, Do It Yourself Projects, Diy And Crafts, Project Ideas, Handmade Crafts, Oyin Handmade, Handmade House, Handmade Rugs, Handmade Jewelry

Found art often occurs on your dinner or dessert plate and in items used in the house. Orange peel, cloves and pot-pourri existed long before air spray. Here the orange peel is made into a rose (or ranunculus flower): it's much more aesthetic than simply chopping up the orange peel.

An example of Art Trouvé, wrought iron and big rocks create some memorable sculptures. On the right...there's a idea for the big rockon your poperty which you can't move. On the left...it must have been a feat to to raise that rock! In either case, they form a pleasing, naturalistic (organic) work of art.

Pieces of driftwood fitted together can create some very lifelike sculptures, as this photo shows.
