Nikolay II and girls, 1912 ~ actually this amazing photo was taken in St Petersburg, on Ivanovskaya Square by the Imperial Photographer K.E. von Gan who was close to Nikolay during 1911-16, lived in Tsarskoye Selo and worked only for Tsar family. Girls were the pupils from higher schools of St Petersburg. Interesting, girls wear traditional suits of Russian pupils actual in Russia until 80s of the last century ~
