Etch designs into bullet casings and make into one of a kind pendants!

Our new jewelry making DIY project is this spoon ring; an unused coffee spoon handle is to be upcycled into a retro-style silver ring, which is really great DIY ring jewelry.

This is the medium size of my bullet casing cross. I shot, cleaned, cut, soldered, and polished these casings myself, meaning I have been involved in every step from new ammunition to finished jewelry. (I only shoot at inanimate targets. Mostly paper and soda cans.) Made from three .22 LR casings, one .22 Magnum casing, and the cut ends of two 9mm casings. Resists are materials that will "resist" the corrosive action of the acid, leaving your design as the un-etched or raised metal on your finished piece. These are the options I've tried so far. This one is lovely with silver roses and a turquoise howlite stone tip. This pendant is made from a spent nickel shell casing. It is completely harmless... no explosives left... you'll have to supply your own "sparks".
