First lit in Wind Point Lighthouse is located at the north end of Racine Harbor in state of Wisconsin. Designed by Orlando Poe, it is one of the oldest and tallest active lighthouses on the Great Lakes. Its light can be seen for 19 miles.
This red brick lighthouse -at 162 feet tall- towers above the northern Outer Banks landscape in the historic Corolla Village. Erected in it houses a winding staircase, 214 steps in all, to the top of the lighthouse
Craft Supplies: Pinecone Gold spray paint Ribbon scraps of choice (I used 1 inch wide gold and inch wide green) Hot glue gun and glue Craft Instructions: Very lightly spray your pinecone with gold paint. Allow the paint to dry.
