My daughter is too old for the letter matching task, but love the idea of the clothes-pins. Going to make more complicated, teen-friendly game and use the clothes-pin instead. They would be great for her fine-motor skills and hand strength.
What a fun game! Make two dice: one with numbers, and one with colors. Roll the dice, then use dot stamps to make that number of dots in that color on your paper. My adaption would be to have the dice be a doubles dice to practice double math facts
Clothespin Math on a clothes hanger! Easy to make, and self explanatory. I'm thinking a wire clothes hanger would work better, so the clothes pins are easy to slide back and forth (almost like an abacus).
Encourages visual memory, copying, direction planning and movement. Can grade the activity by only having the colors needed or having the child pick the colors out of a bin of numerous legos of different, shapes, sizes and colors.
Buntes Basteln mit Klopapierrollen - Feuerspeiende Drachen *** This fire breathing, toilet paper roll dragon is SO MUCH FUN! Blow into the end, and it looks like flames are coming out of the dragon's mouth! Such a cute craft idea for a rainy day!
