I had the traditional mofongo - with crispy pork. This was my first time eating mofongo, or plantains in any way, shape or form whatsoever, so I was really excited. The mofongo itself was delicious, I really liked it. The pork, on the other hand, was rather disappointing. It was more hard and tough, rather than crispy, and the skin was rubbery.
