My son has been wanting to make a fish/turtle pond. We bought the liner and pump. The rest of materials we already had. Rocks came from the river that he got himself with many trips with a backpack. First he lined out the shape and went down about 3 inches to start with. Then he dug out each level. Each level is for rocks to rest on for turtles to lay on.
