The Hippocampus is a glamourous animal of the ocean. They were the pets of the sea and horse god, Poseidon and would draw his chariot across the sea. They have the upper-half of a horse and the lower-half of a fish or dolphin. They love being out at sea and are fairly strong creatures with lots of stamina. They are devotional to their god and like to spend time with their fellow Hippocampi.
Ophiotaurus is a creature from Greek mythology. It described as part bull and part serpent, it’s entrails were said to grant the power to defeat the gods to whoever burned them. The hybrid was slain by an ally of the Titans during the Titanomachy, but the entrails were retrieved by an eagle sent by Zeus before they could be burned. The creature emerged from Chaos with Gaia and Ouranos. Ophiotaurus means cow serpent in Greek.
The manticore is a creature that reassebles the Sphinx as it also possessed the body of a lion and the head of a human. The manticore started as a Persian mythology creature but was later reflected in the Greek mythology. Due to the many versions of how the creature looks, the manticore might be depicted as having wings and/or having a scorpion tail.
