An elaborate doorway to a a Qing Dynasty mansion. Kuan Zhai Xiang Zi (translation: wide and narrow lanes) is a historic Qing Dynasty neighborhood in Chengdu. Once reserved only for the Manchu nobility, it has undergone a facelift in recent years, bringing in cafes, restaurants and art dealers.
