Today, 16 March, in 1485, the death of Queen Anne Neville at Westminster Palace at the age of 28. Anne was consort to Richard III from 26 June 1483 until her death. Anne was the younger daughter of Sir Richard Neville, 16th Earl of Warwick, known to history as ”the Kingmaker”, and Lady Anne Beauchamp, suo jure 16th Countess of Warwick.
