I have an inexpensive ($80) electric smoker from home depot and you can get wood chips at Walmart, kroger, etc.. I recommend hickory and apple wood and I prefer the larger chunks of wood to the chips. Mr. Franklin has instructional videos for every aspect of smokng brisket on youtube. All it takes is time.

Skewer the mushrooms and grill over medium-high heat until just tender and slightly charred, about 2-3 minutes per side.
