Ingredients 7 medium onions mix of yellow and white 1½ cups Arborio rice ½ cup red lentils 4 large garlic cloves minced ½ large red bell pepper finely diced 1 cup parsley finely chopped 3 tbsp tomato paste 2 tbsp olive oil 1 Juice of 1 lemon Salt and black pepper to taste 1 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp ground coriander ½ tsp ground cinnamon ½ tsp ground allspice ¼ tsp ground nutmeg ¼ tsp ground cloves For the Sauce: ½ cup tomato paste 4 cups water Additional seasoning salt, pepper, optional spices 2 tbsp lemon juice 2 tbsp olive oil For Serving: Yogurt sauce yogurt mixed with a bit of lemon juice, garlic, and salt
