You NEED to try this brunch spot in Montreal! - Maggie Oakes in the Old Port
Last weekend I got to try the brand new brunch menu at Maggie Oakes in Montreal, and I truly have not stopped thinking about this brunch since we had it. Not gonna lie, the sound of beef on waffles did not appeal to me at first, but we took the manager’s recommendations and I’m SO glad we did. It was truly divine! The smoked salmon benedict was also incredible, it was so lemony, creamy, and fresh tasting. The pastries were incredibly flaky and just so perfect. This was such a great brunch and I would definitely recommend getting your buns to the Old Port to try the new brunch menu at Maggie Oakes out!
You NEED to see this incredible Canadian hotel pool view!
Located in Canmore, Alberta, The Malcolm Hotel has an amazing view of the surrounding mountains... and the best part is, it’s heated so you can swim here year round! The only time they close the pool is when temperatures hit below -30 🤯. It's just a short 20 minute drive from downtown Banff, which makes it an awesome hotel to stay at when visiting the area. Because it's outside of Banff, you can often find cheaper rates than staying in Banff.. so I love staying in this area! If you’ve never been here, you definitely need to add it to your Canadian travel bucket list!
This Montreal Restaurant Serves Cocktail Trees and it’s the Neatest Thing!
ADD to your Montreal restaurant list 🍹 I just discovered where you can get a cocktail tree in Montreal, and it just might be my new favourite place to go for drinks with friends. This chic, upmarket Lebanese restaurant in Griffintown features traditional sharing plates & mains. The food here was so good but the star of the show was obviously the cocktail tree. The cocktail tree features 8 unique seasonal cocktails, and it’s so much fun to try them all with your friends. We loved them all, and honestly could not decide on a favourite. This is such a fun way to spend an evening out with friends! 📍 SHAY
