Pork meatballs, bok choy, plenty of seasonings and aromatics, a rich and savory broth, all finished with chili oil on top. What’s not to love? Ingredients 2 quarts chicken stock or broth 1 bunch green onions, divided 1 garlic clove, thinly sliced 1 (3-inch) piece fresh ginger, peeled, or 2 teaspoons ground ginger 2 tablespoons soy sauce, plus more to taste 1 1/2 teaspoons rice vinegar 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 teaspoon kosher salt, divided 1 pound ground pork 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil 2 teaspoons cornstarch 3 heads baby bok choy, roughly chopped (about 3 cups) 20 wonton wrappers, cut into quarters Directions: Step1 Place chicken stock in a large saucepan or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Cut white parts of green onions into 1-inch pieces and add to broth. Add garlic clove. Thinly slice 1 inch ginger (or 1 teaspoon ground) and add to stock. Add 1 tablespoon soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally. Step 2 Place pork in a bowl. Finely slice remaining green parts of green onions. Set aside 3 tablespoons for garnish. Add remaining onions to the bowl; grate in remaining 2-inch piece of ginger. Add remaining soy sauce, remaining salt, sesame oil, and cornstarch to the bowl; mix until well combined. Step 3 Form mixture into 1-inch balls and add to broth. Alternatively, use a small spoon to drop heaping teaspoons full of meat into broth. Reduce heat to a simmer; cook 5 minutes. Add wonton wrappers, bok choy, and additional soy sauce to taste. Cook 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Step 4 Serve with reserved green onions and hot sauce or chili crisp if desired. #Alldelishes #instafood #food #foodie #soup #wontons #lazywontonsoup #easy #easyrecipes #wetwetsauce #chilioil #savory #pork | Kitchen and Delish

Now my Christmas Eve meal is complete. 🙌🏻 This soup is a love language in our family and I’ve worked tirelessly to perfect the recipe. I made the recipe as stated, keeping it in the fridge overnight, and then froze it the next day. Check out Episode 1 of Make Ahead Entertaing from last week: Apple Croissant French Toast. 3 lbs yellow onions sliced 5 cloves garlic minced 1 stick butter 1/2 cup red wine (or white, I do red) 4 Tbs flour 4 cups chicken stock 4 cups beef broth 1-2 cups water 1.5 Tbs better than bullion chicken seasoning 1.5 tsp thyme S+P to taste Homemade croutons 1 cup mozzarella cheese - Sauté onions in butter until caramelized, about 40 mins. Add wine and cook until evaporated, 3 mins. Sprinkle flour into pot and sauté for another 3 mins. - Add in broths, water and spices. Simmer for 2 hours and put in fridge over night. - Before serving, place croutons in oven with cheese on a sheet pan and broil for 5 mins. Serve with croutons on top. Eat right away. * Ps. Do not over salt this soup! The bread and cheese add salt at the end. Get it to barely just right because sitting overnight helps the flavor. Pps. In the video I made the bread/cheese the standard way (bread sliced, cheese on top/broiled to 2 mins), but I prefer how it is written in the recipe. | Hillary \\ Tello and Rose
