With Lake Superior's water level being low, and the waves being quite calm, I was able to get down into areas I've never been to before while out at Gros Cap. I really liked this particular shot, mainly because of the rich vibrant reds in the granite. This was another early evenning shot, as the storm that was in the forecast never materialized and sunset was pretty uneventful. Taken with a Nikon D7000 and Nikkor AF-S 10-24mm wide angle lens. At about the midway point of the bridge is the Canada United States border. The bridge was built in 1887 by the Dominion Bridge Company and is an example of a Camelback Truss Span and consists of nine spans across the St. Mary's River.
