Fire Safety Activity: We had a fire fighter come talk to the children about fire safety. Then we had some fun with our pretend fire extinguishers ( see my post). The teacher drew a series of buildings taped the picture to the wall, then added pretend fire on the windows. The children squirted real water from our pretend fire extinguishers. One way we may change this is, draw buildings on plastic table cloths and draw fire with washable markers so it disappears.
