Longtime St. Louisans might remember the Millennium as Stouffer’s Riverfront, the cylindrical hotel with the restaurant that spins. Stouffer's opened in 1969. The building later carried the Clarion and Regal Riverfront names before the hotel began flying the Millennium flag more than a decade ago. Once the largest hotel in St. Louis, the 28-story Millennium Hotel closed in 2014.
