Iv been installing peel and stick for 10 years (and I’m talking very large panels) so Iv had a lot of practice! If you have never installed peel and stick I will say it does take time to really feel comfortable with it. So give yourself grace if you are doing it for the first time! Iv just learned how to work with it! Obviously I have a different process when I go around the doors but in general this is what I do. I still think the cost of building this Ikea desk hack is way less than hiring a professional. I truly believe that anyone can do this. You might not even need all the power tools I used. You can ask your hardware store to cut the wood for you and use hand saw to cut the trims and keep the crown molding simple. What are your thoughts? Affordable?
