TETRAGRAMMATON “Jehovah” is the best known English pronunciation of God's name, though “Yahweh” is favored by some Hebrew scholars. The oldest Hebrew manuscripts show the name in the form of 4 consonants called the Tetragrammaton. The four letters are written from right to left in English as YHWH (or, JHVH). The consonants are known, but vowels didn't come into use in Hebrew tlll the 2nd half of the first millennium C.E. Almighty God HAS a name. It is not "Lord" or "God".. It is Jehovah.
