This is a whitework embroidered handkerchief from the late 19th century. There are flower bouquets at each corner and a garland of tiny flowers around the border. Delicate needlelace fillings to the motifs. It has a tiny embroidered cross in the centre. Soft off white colour. The centre doesn't quite lie flat (see photo 2), otherwise good condition, probably unused.

This is my most favorite wreath among the ones that I've stitched so far. White anemones, blueberries that perfectly match the centering of the flowers, leaves motif, petite blossoms and beads to add more dimensional variety to the work.
