Vbs twist and turns

Alternate craft for Twists and Turns VBS. Instead of using the paper template for the "Catching Fish" game, we're going to use recycled meal shake plastic bottles for a sturdier version. The end of the bottle was cut off using a circular saw and drilled a hole to attach the string & bead (from Dollar Tree), which is tied on securely. The kids will glue on different colored circles that have been cut out of paper for the fish scales and add eyes.

Alternate craft for Twists and Turns VBS. Puzzle blocks were made using 2x2 furring strips from Home Depot. The 8' boards were sanded, whitewashed, then cut into 1.5"x1.5" blocks. Bible verse printout was created on Canva. The kids will cut out the printouts and glue them onto the blocks so that there's a "puzzle" on 2 sides of the blocks. On the other sides, they have X's & O'S to play tic tac toe & another design to color.. The file is attached to the post.

Etch a Sketch made from widescreen TV box, and Neon font in size 400 font

Designed a Twists & Turns game on Canva as an alternate VBS craft. The gameboard is printed on white cardstock and will be placed inside a clear sheet protector. The kids can color in the pathway with colored pencils or add VBS stickers. Everyone will receive 4 game pawns and 1 die so they can play the game when they're finished decorating the board.
