Remember that we all teach (especially at home). … Real influence comes from character and the way one treats others. Teachers (and parents) that care instill hope, build morale, inspire, and win hearts. They practice a program of “do what I do” rather than “do what I say.” They lead by example from the front—by showing the way, not pushing from behind. They get the best out of others because they give the best of themselves.

Whether the influence is good or bad, teachers affect the lives of their students.
