Symmetrical poster

Zurich 2012 is a student project about fictional Olympic Games at Zurich- Switzerland

This is the example of asymmetrical balance in the movie poster. The color, shape are asymmetrical, but creates a dynamic visual balance. Even with the contrast between the two different faces, it is very interesting to combine them in a symmetrical way, which kinda ironically reflects the relationship between joker and batman.

I've never seen spiderman depicted in this manner before. This is a simple but yet creative way representing spider man.

One of the principle of design that we can see in the picture is the Balance. It's because the quadrants are balanced, what is in the right side is also in the left side and this is what we called Symmetrical Balance.

I have always been fascinated by the idea of balance and symmetry, so anything that plays on those concepts always catches my eye.

The Principles of Design and Development, minimal poster series that we designed for our partners at Tekzenit to be a part of the brand new office’s interior design. Simplistic approach reduces the form to the minimum necessary bringing the posters closer to Geometric Abstraction paintings; being the large-scale colour accent in the clean and bright office interior.

The principle of design of this advertisement is Balance and alignment. In this ad, there are two hands that build balance and align the design properly. The balance was created by placing the hands on both the right and the left sides. This makes the viewer easily understand and focus on the product between the hands.
