You can find the full article with the links to all of the people who have helped and inspired me along the way over here: https://80.lv/articles/creating-a-stylized-medieval-town-in-3ds-max-substance-unreal/ I truly hope you check it out! Environment Artist Eric Tahiri shared a comprehensive write-up on creating the stylized world of Nexus, explaining how the waterfall was made, how the level's objects were blended together, and what techniques were used to guide the player.
This is a personal project that I've been working on for the past couple of months during my spare time. I haven't done any stylized related art before and this was a great exercise to expand my knowledge. Learned a lot and implemented new softwares into my production pipeline. Based on a wonderful concept by Michal Kus. Thanks! https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Le65A
