Imagine setting aside two years of your life to work, sleep and procreate in a fake Soviet physics lab. This is the world of DAU, a bizarre artistic undertaking unveiled in Paris.

There is a phenomenon in the history of Soviet Russian - the communal apartment, or kommunalka.

"A tiny living room is filled with the spirit of the Soviet Union period. The room is full of small details which create cosiness in such difficult times. Not a simple "Soviet citizen" lives here. This is a man of science! A computer unique for its time and many books shows to high intelligence and success." It took me about six months to create this room. More than 150 models were created.
