Named: "Jet Clipper Balboa" In 1970, the runway at Kingston, Jamaica, wasn't long enough or wide enough to take Pan-Am's new Boeing 747's, so they terminated at Montego Bay. This Boeing 720 was based at Kingston and operated daily shuttle services between Kingston and Montego Bay to connect with the Boeing 747's.
