Probably one of the most photogenic cities I have been in so far and an extremely rich history for a city with roughly 200,000 people. The Nidaros Cathedral was built in 1070 and is the second largest in Scandinavia. Witness to countless historic events including the coronation of many Norwegian Kings. Nidaros Cathedral It was the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Nidaros from its establishment in 1152 until its abolition in 1537. Since the Reformation, it has been the cathedral of the Lutheran bishops of Trondheim (or Nidaros)
