I rang in the New Year with more sewing of Monkey Wrench blocks. This is what I have so far: These blocks are very addictive, let me tell you. I sew them up 4 or 5 at a time, and then step back and review where I want to go with the colors for the next batch. I can see that the purple background of the block in the fourth row stands out a bit, so for the last 2 blocks I will concentrate on making the background a little darker to balance that one out.
