The jokes we share with others can tell a lot more about ourselves and how we view the world than we might initially think. Jokes aren't as innocent as they might seem.

Sexism and misogyny are not the same — and the difference matters.

How can you know if your loving caring partner is a misogynist? There are ways to spot a misogynist if you know what to look for.

Misogyny is all around us. But as writer Nina Renata Aron pointed out in The New York Times, the word, which conventionally means hatred of women and was once a radical accusation has become like a synonym to the gentler "sexism" and "chauvinism" in popular use, and with the term's popularity comes a better understanding of what it encompasses.
