Mary Tudor wearing what could be the "Mirror of Naples" stone. The pearl teardrop suspended from the jewel was a gift from her husband, Prince Philip II. Since the original "Mirror of Naples" (A wedding gift to Mary Rose Tudor, and sent to Henry VIII to soften his anger at her marriage to Charles Brandon) was reputed to have a large, teardrop pearl, as well. That pearl could be the mysterious "Mary Tudor" pearl acquired by Bond Street.
