The ceiling lamp Model 30 was designed in 1955 and is available in lampshade foil. The lamp is suitable in larger surroundings and creates pleasant lighting.

Le Klint is a traditional Danish lamp maker known for classic designs dating back to the 1940s. All its products are still handmade in Odense, Denmark. Design Stories interviewed the company’s CEO, Kim Weckstrøm Jensen, who had a career in the army before turning to the field of design.

Le Klint’s model 223, perhaps better known as the Sax Lamp or scissor lamp, is a classic design from 1952 created by Le Klint’s chief engineer Erik Hansen. Pleating is the defining feature of the Le Klint lamp collection, born by the practical need to diffuse light while keeping the paper away from the incandescent bulb and inspired by Japanese origami. Starting in the early 1900s, the Klint family devoted themselves to perfecting the pleated paper lampshade, creating a legacy of timelessly elegant lighting designs that span generations.
