a statue of a native american man holding a bow in front of trees with yellow leaves

Group #7. This is a bronze sculpture of Chief Massasoit, also known as "Yellow Feather." It stands near the Harold B. Lee Library. The original sculpture was made by Cyrus Dallin and was located in Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1921. The more modern statue was cast from Dallin's statue and given to the Brigham Young University. Looks like a very intricate yet powerful sculpture, and "Yellow Feather" was a very friendly indian that made friends with the Pilgrims.
