Homemade motorcycle lift table

Motorlift: I made this motorlift with the plans i got from a friend. For mine i changed it a bit , mine is longer and higher than shown in the plans. It can easily lift my motorbike which ways about 170 kilo. I also use it a lot as an extra workbench.

I've been thinking about building a lift to put the bike on when I'm servicing it.....I don't want to spend 350 bucks on a heavy steel hydraulic lift so I've been tossing around making either a wood frame fixed platform, or possibly a tube type that would lift several inches for adjustability.

So, I can't even afford to buy the 299.99 HarbFreight lift, at least not if I wanna buy parts and spend money on my build. I would like to get my bike up in the air so i'm not on my knees or laying on my side working. Anyone built a home lift or table?
