Guru nanak ji

The founder and first Guru of Sikhism, was born in the year 1469, in the village Talwandi which is located in the Punjab region of the Indian subcontinent. The village, now known as Nankana Sahib, is situated near the city of Lahore in present day Pakistan.it was evident that Guru Nanak ji was an extraordinary child, distinguished by his divine grace.Guru Nanak's thoughts, views and words have been catalogued in the form of 974 poetic hymns in ‘Guru Granth Sahib’, the holy text of Sikhism.

ਐ ਨਾਨਕ ! ਮੈਂ, ਦੇਖ ਕੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ? ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਾਉਂਦਾ, ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਭਟਕਦੇ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਬੁਰਾਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜਦਾ ਗਿਆ, ਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਗ਼ਲਤੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਗ਼ਲਤੀਆਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਅੱਛਾਈਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਠ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ, ਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਬੁਰਾਈਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਠ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਗਏ । ਉਹ ਸਿੱਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਗਿਆ, ਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਦਭਾਵ ਕਰਦੇ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਵੰਡ ਕੇ ਛਕਣ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ, ਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਵੰਡਦੇ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਮੋਤੀ ਚ ਪਿਰੋਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ, ਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਮੋਤੀ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਮੁੱਲ ਪਾਉਣ ਲੱਗ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਗੁਰਮੁੱਖਤਾ ਦਾ ਪਾਠ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਉਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ, ਤੇ ਅੱਸੀ ਮਨਮੁੱਖਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਨਾਉਂਦੇ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਣਾਉਂਦਾ…
