Many people don't understand how an electric fence works. This diagram demonstrates how the energizer push electricity into the fence. When the animal (or sometimes us by accident) touches the fence, the electricity flows through the animal into the soil moisture and back to the energizer through the ground rod. The shock only happens when this loop is completed. Diy, Electric, People, Fence, Barrier, Fences, Backyard, Electric Shock, Livestock
