For me, the most important--and complex--part of a doll shoe making is the sole. After all, we can wrap a bit of ribbon around the doll's foot and call it a sandal, but it has to be anchored to something that, at the very least, makes it look like a real shoe. The short boots of felt for simple felt doll. It doesn't need seam allowance. Cut instep and sole. Punch eyelets. Put a little glue on the edge of eyelets to reinforce. Stitch the front (A-B). Stitch the sole to the instep. Tie a shoestring (about 20 centimeters). Other shoes. Make small gathers on the toe. Stitch the sole to the instep. Pattern of leg and shoes.

What I forgot to mention in the last post is that I don't recommend the silicone I used for making these moulds. The red stuff I used earlier (see my home page) was much easier to work with and that was the first time I was making this kind of moulds. I think that silicone was manufactured by hobbytime, but I'm not quite sure. I am sure that I will try to find better silicone for the next time, if there is going to be a next time.
