Homemade theater stanchions. Used a 6" square of plywood on bottom. Screw in a wooden dowel to the plywood and cover with a pool noodle. Cut the top off of a 16oz pop bottle for the top of the stand. Use the bottom of the pop bottle to attach to the red pool noodle to make the rope and attach a cup hook to hook it to the stand. Use an eyelet screw on the stand to attach the "rope" also put a wire through the red noodle so it could be bent and keep the swag shape.

I got 95% of the materials at the Dollar Tree and made the poles from cellophane cardboard rolls, 9 in. round tin pans, pipe cleaners, 2.4 in. floral foam balls, and masking tape. Now all that I need to do is spray paint them gold and add the red crepe paper for the red rope!
