Originally operated as Howard Paper Mills until Fox River bought it in 1991, then Badger in 1992, and finally Cross Pointe in 1994, this plant made alklaline and recycled paper before finally closing in the mid-late 90's. In recent years scrap vandals and fires have decimated this building.
