Every child care organization must have an accident/injury report for children to properly document an accident or injury that may have occurred. The reasoning for documenting this is to show the parents exactly what had happened and when in great detail. The center may also keep a copy for their records so that if they ever need to know something about a child's record, it is properly documented there.
