I've made some digital sketches focusing on cow legs and hooves. The purpose of these cow anatomy sketches was to practice and improve my drawing skills in this challenging area. In one of my art projects, cows play a significant role, and their legs and hooves have been a persistent source of frustration (omg those forms 😵‍💫) for me due to the difficulty in rendering them accurately. Notice the split or splayed hooves. That feature puts moose biologically in the Ungulates sub species along with other animals including our domestic cows and other members of the Deer family (a moose in the largest member of the deer family, followed by the Elk). Also notice the Dew claws on the back just above the actual hooves. ~ Mark Picard Funky Creatures, Cow Hooves, Leg Reference, Female Deer, Belay Devices, Animal Reference, Deer Family, Animal Study, Drawing Prompt
