"The background rectangle shape is cut out of 24 gauge copper sheet metal. I chiseled the edges with a hammer to create texture. The rectangle was heated and then folded. Heating the copper adds a unique patina to the metal. The edges are then filed and sanded to make the them smooth. I used silver solder to male little unique design elements. A coating is sprayed onto the copper to keep the unique coloring.
