Hand Stamped Silver Necklace. Using cold connections and a mix of 2 metals, aluminum and copper I have discovered a whole new level of design. The light weight of the thick aluminum combined with the organic natural copper is a little bit rustic and a little bit modern. This is the sort of design I had in mind when I set about working with copper clay - I had lots of ideas for combining it with colour. After some experimentation (antique before colouring or after etc.), this is the method and result I'm most happy with. I'll blog some WIP photos and more on the technique shortly. There's a secret bead dangle behind and within the curve of the pendant square, allowing it to be worn 3 slightly different ways.
