Car shelves

This is a DIY 1/18 Car Model Display I made, using pipe shelving unit design and adding hidden led strips to illuminate the models. To prevent dust from entering, each shelve is enclosed with acrylic sheets which can slide in grooves in the wood. I used plywood for my shelves finished in oak, 1/2" inch pipes painted black and 4000k led strips. All the cables run through the pipes.

I made a remix of Wexagon (hexagon shelves) by Wekster. This is a really cool design. I changed it so I can use it to display Matchbox cars. Basic idea was to modify the original file so the shelf is higher and also add a small lip around it.
