When their new leadership team approached us, they’d decided to shift away from their illustration-centric design system in favor of a more sophisticated one. ‘Laminar’ means a ‘parallel flow of a gas or liquid, providing the greatest driving force’. Our brand strategy and design dramatised this by reducing the graphic expression of laminar flow to just two parallel lines, more commonly know as an equals symbol.
