(Original Pin) I pinned this website because I was captivated by a 5th and 6th grade art project for creating sand art. It allows students to have artistic freedom when creating their sand art designs and they get to work with many different types of art materials they have likely never before used. We had a lot fun studying real candy prices as our inspiration for our Pop Art Candy Paintings. Tempra paint and black Sharpie outlines added emphasis and strong lines. The 12" x12" paper created a cropped effect as well. Yum!
