jesjournal: It seemed that Flo-Jo never ran without her makeup on, her hair done, and her long fingernails pristinely manicured. We can’t blame her, as such grooming only boosted her popularity. I’m thinking that it boosted her times on the track as well… A wise man once said, “You look good, you perform better,” and it’s my guess that Florence Griffith-Joyner ripped that page out of the fashion book.
